Dan had Christmas weekend off so we decided to drive to Ella and Brian's house for the weekend. We left during the afternoon on Christmas. We went up to Gatlinburg one day and with the lack of snow decided not to go tubing. We wanted to ride the alpine slide but it was wet and even though we waited for a long time it never really dried off enough for us to ride it. The kids did get to play in some of the snow. We also went bowling one day and celebrated Brian's birthday. Ethan was very upset when we went to leave. He wanted us to take everything back inside. He sat and cuddled with Ella for a long time because he wanted to stay with her. It was really cute. We eventually convinced to come home with us, but not before he peed on the tree in front of their house. :) Love that kid! It was a fun trip. It is so nice to have them only 4 hours away!
