New Year's Traditions

We are still working on our family traditions. I asked for New Year's ideas on facebook and we found one perfect for us. We took all of the decorations off of our Christmas tree and decorated it with streamers, balloons, and bead necklaces. Inside of the balloons were toys, candy and money. We celebrated New Year's at 7pm which is New Year's in London. We learned about London, watched the London countdown from last year online, had a fun drink, and then popped open the balloons. The kids loved it!!  We also had some special visitors. Our friends, the Lewis' have a tradition of going to friends houses with pots and pans. They let themselves in and march around making lots of noise. It was cute. They of course left a treat too! We are looking forward to another great year!!
