Boulder - Chatauqua Park

We tried to use some of our free time before we moved to enjoy the mountains and not just pack. We took the kids to Boulder for our last hike. First, we walked around the Pearl Street mall while we waited for a table at Snooze. They make the best pancakes! We usually try to avoid restaurants with the kids but they did great. They even tried new foods. It was a miracle! Afterwards we headed up to Chautauqua park for a hike in the Flatirons. It was getting pretty hot so we didn't make it too far but we still had fun.  It was Michael's first hike in the backpack. He really liked it. The boys always love finding bugs on the trail and of course climbing on rocks! Michael loved seeing dogs on the trail. We sure do miss the  mountains!
