On Saturday, June 21st we left Colorado to move back to Durham for residency. My Mom flew to Denver the night before to help me with the kids in the van. Dan drove the Penske truck with the car dragging behind it. I am not going to lie...it was a rough road trip! Michael screamed almost the whole time and Ethan wanted to stop and go to the bathroom every hour even though he was wearing a diaper. Parker did great! He filled his backpack full of books, toys and snacks which kept him quiet. I am grateful that one of them was quiet. :)
Sunday night we stopped in Tennessee at my sister Ella's house. It was nice to get out of the car and have some fun. On Monday Ella and Brian threw Ethan a birthday party. He loved it! Brian also fixed the van so that the DVD player worked. It made the rest of the trip a little easier! Tuesday morning Dan left early to go get a physical for work. We left a couple of hours later. I have to admit, despite not seeing the house before we did great! We love it! It is perfect for house and our family right now.
