Ethan and Parker Updates

Ethan is turning 2 in a few weeks so he will get a post soon, but let me just quickly say that he is quite the talker these days. It seems like over night he went from rarely talking to never being quiet. It is super cute. I am impressed with how many words he knows and how quickly he is picking up new words.

The other night we asked him to say a prayer which usually solicits no response, but this night he sat down folded his arms and babbled for a while and then said "Amen". It was the sweetest thing. Of course, he has not repeated the performance.

Parker continues to amaze us everyday. He is so smart! He reads extremely well for a kid his age and last night I was blown away with how fast he reads. He also loves to draw and write. He is always writing signs and is currently writing an ABC book. He is pretty good at spelling without asking for help. Here is one of his signs that he made on movie night:

We got a package in the mail that had a lot of packing peanuts in it. Parker had a lot of fun doing science experiments with them. And of course, like everything else, he had to make some signs about it.
