Rocky Mountain National Park

We have been really enjoying our time here in Colorado. Dan was able to take Parker and Ethan camping one night in Rocky Mountain National Park. They had a lot of fun. It was Ethan's first time camping.  He loves being outside so he was in heaven! Unfortunately for Dan he was having so much fun at night he did not want to go to bed. They went on a nice hike, saw lots of Elk, and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire.

 

 Dan had to buy a week long pass to get into the park so we went back that weekend with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Scott and Aunt Gabby, and Uncle Paul. We ate a picnic lunch by Bear Lake. There was a lot of snow on the ground still which the kids loved! We found some fun rocks to climb on with amazing views across the valley and then we walked around Estes Park.  We are so grateful to be in Colorado for the year...family and mountains!
