My brother and friend Paul passed away in a car accident two weeks ago. My family and I are heartbroken. I miss him terribly. Paul was an amazing individual with such a unique personality. I loved spending time with him, whether just chilling on the couch, climbing mountains, or working. He made me so happy. I love you Paul. I know I will see you again.
Paul, Scott and I went on a backpacking trip two weeks before his
passing. The trip will always be one of my greatest memories. I think it is also a fitting tribute to Paul. The pictures capture who he is in
many ways. We went up to Upper Slate Lake in the Gore Range. It was a
long, hard hike crammed into a one night trip. Paul was at his best.
While Scott and I struggled (especially me) Paul cruised and joked
through the hike. He was anxious to climb the morning after. Paul led
the way in making it a fun, memorable trip as well. We swam in the
freezing alpine lake, shoe-skied snowfields, and jumped cliffs. We
joked and simply enjoyed being with each other in beautiful, simple
nature.

| The day after Paul's funeral the whole family went up to the mountains to honor and remember Paul. It was a tender, memorable, and fitting tribute to Paul. Mayflower Gulch. |

I'm sorry for your loss. But what a wonderful blessing you guys got to spend that time with him.
Just wanted to let you know how sorry I am about the loss of your brother. My Dad died in a car accident at the end of May and it has been the hardest trial of my life so far. You and your family are in our prayers.
What a beautiful blessing it is to know that through Him we will see our loved ones again someday. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
