Last night was not a good night. I don't love having my blood drawn. I don't mind it if my IV is working, but last night at 3am it decided to stop working. The nurse that was drawing blood didn't know what she was doing. I started crying because she was hurting me and I was scared. I will spare you the details. It was not enjoyable.
It has been nice to experience hospitals a little more since Dan will practically be living in one soon. Nurses make the whole experience. Yesterday the day nurses were organized and nice and knew what they were doing. The night nurses not so much so it was a rough night. Besides the lady that sprays the nasal wash stuff all over you instead of into your nose, the day shift today is going to better. Not to mention, instead of having blood drawn every 4 hours today it is drawn every 6 hours. If only they could get some better food.

I'm so sorry! That exact same thing happened to me on Sat morning! It hurts so bad, huh? We will have to get together later and decide if it was the same nurse. Another nurse told me later that she had messed up six IV's so far that morning:( Hang in there! Almost done!!
I am so sorry too. It sounds like you got the cold. Well I hope you will get to do something fun with the profits. Love Mom T So much for helping science.
OMG I hope you told the researcher. Do you remember a little bit about IRB? Yeah, you should have definitely filed a complaint, that is a horrible way to be treated!
