North Carolina Zoo

In the spring we made a quick trip to the North Carolina Zoo.  We wanted to make it more of a trip so we got a hotel room for a night close to the zoo.  The boys always love staying in a hotel...swimming in the pool, jumping on the bed, watching movies in bed.  The NC Zoo is a natural habitat zoo so there was a lot of walking in between animals, but we had fun.  The highlights included the young fighting gorillas, the polar bear, and the fun kids play area.  We probably will not go back, but it was a fun trip with the kids.
