Parker turned 6!

Parker turned 6 last month. For his birthday he wanted to go to the Greensboro Children's Museum. It is his favorite. He also wanted donuts instead of cake and not just donuts, donuts with candy corn in them. Yum! We celebrated his birthday the Saturday before his actual birthday so on his birthday he had a friend come home from school with him to play for a few hours. For his birthday we got him a Ninjago Lego set (with Zane, the white ninja), a dinosaur excavation kit and a rock spotting guide book. He also got some money, clothes and a gem excavation kit from his grandparents.

Parker loves kindergarten but he would rather stay home if he could.
He loves reading non-fiction books.
He loves dinosaurs and penguins. He knows a lot more about dinosaurs then mom or dad.
He wants to be an illustrator and author. He is always drawing pictures and writing books.
He almost always wears mismatched socks.
For the first time in years he is wearing jeans again.
Still won't eat meat (except for chicken nuggets and the one bite that we make him eat).
When he loves a movie of tv show he runs and jumps around the room. It's pretty cute!
He is pretty sensitive to people talking about him (even if it is positive).
He is a good helper and loves being able to help his brothers.
He still plays with Legos...kind of in phases.
