Christmas Festivities

Ethan had a preschool Christmas program one night. He was a wiseman and worked very hard at memorizing his part. Considering his 3 year-old attention span he did a great job! We love his teacher, Miss Annie, and Ethan loves going to his classroom (he is very sensitive about calling it his classroom and not his school). It is a great group of kids. We are grateful that he is learning to love learning!

One Monday evening we met Dan downtown to see the American Tobacco Christmas Tree contest. Different non-profit organizations decorate Christmas trees and then everyone gets to vote on the best one and they win money. The kids loved looking at all of the trees and the lights.

We got some snow flurries one morning. The kids ran outside and tried to sled down the hill. Ha! It melted 20 minutes later.

The Durham Museum of Life and Science had a fun winter exhibit for the kids this year. You could go sock skating, throw snowballs through targets, build a snowman and play in an igloo. The kids loved it but with it being Christmas break it was too busy! We didn't stay long.

Isn't that wonderful that Ethan has such a nice class room. He looks so sweet in his costume.

You guys have a lot of fun!
