Memorial Day

Steven and Chrystal and Family came into town Memorial Day weekend. We tried to go on a hike in the mountains but we would have had to wait all day for parking so we went to Dekoevend park in Littleton. Dan and his brothers and friends grew up at this park. They would ride their bikes there and play in the creek. Being there brought back a lot of fond memories for them. Our little boys loved playing in the creek and exploring! After the park we all went to the Littleton cemetery to place flowers on Paul's grave. This was a very tender experience. In the evening we all headed to Kristin's house for a BBQ. It was a great day and weekend. We will miss getting together with everyone while in Durham.
