Dan is doing away rotations at the University of Utah and the University of Colorado. The kids and I tagged along of course and even though we are slightly bored. We are having fun too. We are currently in Utah and pretty much 2 weeks in to the rotation...half way done...with Utah! That means 2 weeks down and 6 more to go. Yippee!
We drove to Utah in 3 days of driving. The first day we drove from Durham to Little Rock, Arkansas which is 865 miles. The boys did pretty good that day. I was really worried about Parker and having to stop to go potty a lot, but that kid has amazing bladder control. :) We only stopped 3 times before we got to our hotel. The second day we drove to Albuquerque, NM to visit Dan's brother and his family. We drove 882 miles that day. The boys were ok in the morning, but it quickly went downhill. We stayed in Albuquerque for 2 nights. I thought giving the boys a day to play would make the last day go better, but that was not the case. Luckily day 3 was a little shorter. It was only 590 miles. We were blessed to make it safely and were all really happy to be done!
My Mom and Ella flew out for our first week here. We kept pretty busy, but I was really bad about taking pictures. Everyone else had their cameras so I plan on stealing their pictures off of facebook. The boys got to jump on trampolines, eat lots of junk, ride ponies, see Temple Square, play with cousins, and more. We were all exhausted every night.
