Ethan turned one last week. I can't believe it! We had the fastest birthday party ever. Dan was working 13 hour overnight shifts so he was sleeping most of the day. We quickly had a pizza party at lunch so that Dan could go get some sleep. In true one-year old fashion Ethan liked the ribbon on the packages more than the presents at first. Here are some quick facts about Ethan:
- He weighs 22 pounds and is 31 inches long.
- He started walking when he was 10 months old so now he is running.
- He loves climbing on everything and figures out how to get back down without any help.
- His first word (spoken yesterday) was "bye-bye", but now he won't say it.
- His first 2 teeth just broke through.
- If you want to see his face light up pull all of the cushions off of the couch and let him climb all over them.
- He loves playing outside.
- He can be very demanding, especially when eating.
- He loves animals.
- He likes to dance.
We sure do love our little guy! Can't imagine life without him.
