It's Almost August?!?!

Well I have completely lost track of time and can't believe it is almost August. And it blows my mind that Ethan is 3 weeks old tomorrow. I guess time flies when you are having fun... or have sleep deprivation.

It was so nice having Dan's mom here and then my mom here to help with my recovery and Parker. The recovery has been harder than I thought it would be. I probably have amnesia, but I still feel like my recovery from the c-section was easier. Oh well.

Yesterday was my first day having both kids all by myself. I am pretty proud of myself. I took a shower and managed a trip to Target. Today we did absolutely nothing and it was nice. It helps that Ethan is such a sweet baby.

Ethan is filling in and looking more like Parker and Dan everyday. He is a really good sleeper which we really appreciate. He has a love/hate relationship with his pacifier. He loves to be cuddled. He loves to go outside and look around. And of course, we couldn't love him more.

Parker is growing up fast. He seems so much older and bigger with little Ethan around. Parker soaks up everything and talks all day long about everything. He cracks me up and I am often surprised with some of the stuff he comes up with. Today he kept telling me that watching his movie was hard work so he needed a drink. He loves Ethan and is a good big brother. He is always giving him kisses and trying to hold his hand.
