Mitchell Lake Trail

Dan has been working some crazy hours on this rotation.  We took advantage of a day off and took the kids for a hike. Dan chose the Mitchell Lake Trail near Brainard Lake. It is 2 miles round trip. We both think it has been our best family hike. We completely forgot to bring a carrier for the baby so we had to carry him. He loved it! The kids loved looking for the blue diamonds on the trees that helped mark the trail. They loved the mud, the bridges, the river, and all of the rocks to climb. They did great!
