Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to the Christmas Eve children's service at Duke Chapel. We went our first year out here, but forgot how popular it was so we were on the side in the back and couldn't see anything. It was still nice to hear the story of our Savior's birth and the beautiful music.

This cute old man was playing the bagpipes outside of the chapel before the service. Then he came in at the end. I heard some of the kids around us say, "Look Santa plays the bagpipes." It was really cute.

After the service we went to a friend's house and acted out the story of our Saviors birth. Dan was Joseph, Parker was a wiseman and Ethan was baby Jesus. It was fun to be with friends since we weren't with family this year.
