Myrtle Beach

I have to admit this trip to the beach has been my favorite so far. Parker is at a fun age to play with in the water and loved playing in the sand. Ethan was chill. The water was warm. It was only in the 80's. We practically lived in a one bedroom apartment that was really cheap, but nice and had an ocean front view. We also had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. It couldn't have been much better. I am ready to plan our next trip there. I love my mountain man and want him to be happy, but one day I want to live in a house on the beach. We'll see if that ever happens. :) If anyone wants to come out this way to the beach. The end of August was perfect!

One night at like 9:30 we heard this loud boom outside so we ran out to the balcony and there were fireworks being lit off of the dock that was right outside our hotel. We debated waking up Parker so he could see them. He didn't get to see any on the 4th of July and he lays on the floor and pretends to watch them at home so we decided to wake him up. I went in the room and turned on the light and yelled Parker, but he just rolled over and went back to sleep. I picked him up and took him outside. It took him a few minutes, but he finally woke up and loved it.

One morning I was sitting out on the balcony feeding Ethan and I saw this bride and groom taking pictures on the beach. There were 3 other people there with them and the lady taking pictures only had a little point and shoot. Then a minute later I noticed that the groom was taking pictures and there wasn't anyone there with them. Random people were stopping and helping them take pictures together. I felt really bad for them. They were all dressed up and didn't have anyone to take pictures of them. I told Dan he should run down and offer to take pictures of them. He did. Dan said they really got into it. We were so excited we could help them. The light wasn't great, but Dan got some really cute pictures of them. Dan left them his phone number and told them to call and we would send them a CD of the pictures. We were worried when we didn't hear from them right away, but they just called! So if anyone needs a wedding photographer...
