Thanksgiving

It is so nice to have family within driving distance around the holidays. This year we went to the DC area and stayed with Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Lynn. We really enjoyed our 2 days together. I think Parker had the best time of his life!

Dan and I made the mistake of trying to go get a toy at Toys R Us on Thanksgiving night. When we got there and saw the long line and huge masses of people we went right back to the house. On Friday we took Parker to the Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum in DC. He was in heaven. After the museums we went for a drive. It was nice to get a little tour of DC by people who know the area. They took us to Old Alexandria by the waterfront where we walked around and looked at little shops. We drank hot chocolate in a Starbucks that used to be a restaurant in 1775. It was a great trip until the drive home. Parker wouldn't go to sleep. We got home at 10:45pm and needless to say Parker was cranky!
