This last year was a good year for me. We moved to North Carolina, which isn't so bad. I have made some great friends!! Dan's first year of medical school is over and he rocked it. It wasn't even as bad as we thought it would be. I made my first quilt and a sheet to match.
I have learned how much I love to sew and do crafts. My latest project was this purse (Click here for the tutorial). Love it!
I have had a lot of fun playing with this little boy all day! I do admit that I have a hard time being a stay-at-home Mom, but I make the best of it because I love him and wouldn't want anyone else playing with him all day.
This next year... will hopefully be a good one as well. This is supposed to be Dan's worst year of medical school so it may not be much fun for him, but Parker and I will be having fun. Our plans so far: friends visiting next week, a trip to Florida next month, a unplanned trip to DC and lots of swimming.
Oh, and by the way, I got a much needed haircut to start the year off right. (Not a great picture, but you get the point.)

You know what? 30 was REALLY hard for me... REALLY! Old old old...it really does get better and you still look the same and apparently feel the same keeping busy and all! Cute projects!
