We're Back

No internet really makes this whole blog thing a little more difficult. I am not about to try updating the blog from the ipod which is mostly what I use these days. Well, we have taken hundreds of pictures in the past month considering we have been traveling quite a bit so here is the really really condensed version. But first I would like to point out how impressed we were with Parker. He did so well on the trip.

Part 1: West Point with the Parkers

We spent 4th of July weekend in West Point with my brothers and my Dad. It was a lot of fun to relax. It was also fun to be at such a historical place for the 4th. Oh yeah and to be with family of course!

Part 2: New York City

We were so lucky to have some generous friends that live in New York City and let us crash in their apartment. Unfortunately it was stinkin' hot while we were there, but we still managed to see almost everything we wanted to see. My favorite sites were the Staten Island Ferry and of course, Chinatown. But my favorite memory is of Parker. He said his first sentence ("I want down!") in NYC. Gotta love that kid! He is very stubborn and knows exactly what he wants.

Part 3: Harrisburg with the Tandbergs

On the way home we went to stay with Dan's bro in Harrisburg. It was fun to spend time with the them. Some of the highlights: Hershey Chocolate World and the free chocolate, the water park and attending Bryce's baptism.

Part 4: Washington DC
Our final stop was in DC, but Parker was so ready to go home that we just visited some friends and family and then finished the drive home.

We took another trip, but you'll have to wait for those pictures.
