2 Months Old!

It is amazing how fast time goes with a baby. Parker has changed so much! He is beginning to be a lot of fun. He smiles when we talk him. He coos all of the time! We coo back so he thinks we are having a conversation. It is really cute. He is beginning to roll over. He can go from his stomach to his back and from his back to his side. He is also very good at holding up his head during tummy time. I have to admit that it is really hard to get frustrated with a little baby when they smile. I found that out at 2am one morning. I was trying to get him back to sleep after I fed him and I thought I was successful but when I laid him in the crib he woke right up (he does this often!). I was really tired so I was starting to get frustrated, but he got a huge grin on his face and all the frustration was gone. He had his 2 month check-up this week. He is 11 pounds now. He is so brave. He only cried for a minute while he got his two shots. I feel bad about it now, but Dan and I laughed at him. We thought he would be a lot more upset about getting shots. Well, I could go on forever, but I will spare you. Here is are a few pictures...







As for Dan and I, I get the privilege of staying home with Parker everyday so you have heard enough from me. Dan started his final semester at BYU, he is working in a lab on campus doing cancer research and he enjoys a weekly skiing trip to Sundance. We found out this week that we were accepted to the University of Michigan medical school. Dan really liked the school so we are excited, but still have other schools we are waiting to hear from. We will keep you updated!
